What closed means here
A card lands on this page when nobody new can get it. That is not the same as the card ceasing to work. Offramp disabled new orders on 1 July 2026 and existing cards kept paying until 31 July; Cypher closed applications on 8 July and cards worked until 7 August. The table prints the first date. This site answers whether you can get a card, not whether somebody else is still carrying one, and where the two dates differ the reason column says so.

Archived builds bracket the change: a real country check on 2025-09-05, hardwired off by 2025-12-16. That predates the KNF revocation of issuer Quicko, so this was not the Quicko cascade. Nebeus has since rebuilt its app: it has no consumer card screen at all, and its promo tile lists a business card as coming soon. Nebeus named no successor issuer: its regulated-partner disclosure of 2026-04-01 lists five partners and no card issuer. About the last column
It is generated, not recommended. The ranking uses three things the closed card’s own row states: a region it was sold in, the same custody model, the same card scheme. Nobody has held these cards next to the closed one, and no issuer calls any of them a successor. 2 cards get no shortlist at all, because their rows never named a region, only “Global” or a country count: Offramp Card and Stables Card.
How many of these were the brand’s own decision
17 of the 31 were not. Something changed a layer above the brand: a regulator withdrew a licence, a sponsor bank left the crypto vertical, a buyer wound the platform down, an issuer paused onboarding. Where that company served several brands, several cards stopped in the same week, 7 of them at once in the largest case. The next largest is 3: Trustee Card, CEX.IO Card and Mercuryo Spend Card.
Which crypto cards stopped accepting new applications?
All 31 on this page. That is the criterion for the list rather than a footnote to it: a card appears here when a new customer can no longer get one. Several kept working for people who already held them, in a few cases for another month, and the reason column says which.
Is there a replacement for a crypto card that shut down?
Rarely a direct one. Across the 21 closures traced to a verified event upstream, 3 brands came back: Trustee, BingX and nsave sell a card again, which is why they are not on this list. For the rest, the last column of the table is the closest obtainable card by region, custody model and card scheme, which is somewhere to start comparing rather than a like-for-like swap.
