Card Overview
Shutting down. Osmosis Pay ran on Cypher's Visa rails, and Cypher's wind-down took it with it: new applications closed on July 8, 2026, and pay.osmosis.zone now carries its own notice that card services end on September 6, 2026, with spending stopping August 7. What made the card interesting while it lived was the fit: spend OSMO, ATOM, USDC and bridged USDT straight from an Osmosis wallet, self-custodied until the moment of conversion, in 180+ countries (US excluded). Conversion cost 2% on the free virtual card, 1% on the 50-dollar physical, rewards were points rather than cashback. It was a well-made niche card whose niche was exactly one ecosystem — and its fate was decided a platform layer above that ecosystem. If you hold a balance, move it out before spending stops.
Osmosis Pay Card powered by Cypher brings the Cosmos ecosystem to global commerce, enabling direct spending from your Osmosis wallet at 40+ million Visa merchants in 180+ countries. Hold OSMO, ATOM, and other Cosmos assets in your self-custodied wallet, maintaining complete control until the moment you spend. With Keplr and Leap Wallet integration, 3D Secure protection, and flexible virtual or physical card options (1-2% conversion fees), Osmosis Pay bridges DeFi's largest DEX with everyday spending, perfect for Cosmos believers who want to live on-chain without sacrificing real-world utility.
This is a Visa crypto card. It uses a self-custody model.
