Card Overview
The 6% headline requires Obsidian tier, which means $50,000 CRO locked. Almost no retail user qualifies. The ladder restructured in 2025-2026 under the Level Up program: BASIC pays 1.5%, Ruby Steel-equivalent around 3.5%, higher tiers up to 6% with bigger stakes. Even within the right tier, a conversion spread of about 0.5% is baked into every swipe, and CRO price moves against you in down markets. Where the card actually pays is the free Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon Prime rebates on the higher tiers; those matter more than the cashback math itself. The prepaid Visa is available across 36 countries including the US (excluding New York), UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Brazil. The newer Crypto.com Visa Signature Credit Card is US-only. Issuance is free, FX is 0% on international purchases. Custodial. Best fit: users who already pay for Spotify and Netflix and can stake CRO long enough to break even. Not worth it for the cashback alone.
Requires significant CRO staking for top tiers; custodial model; monthly caps on lower tiers
