Card overview
Wave.space built this card around one idea: your bitcoin stays bitcoin until the terminal asks for money. PRO users go further and connect an outside Lightning wallet over Nostr Wallet Connect, so the sats never sit with the company at all. That part is rare, and it is the reason to look. Price it in full though. You pay 1% to convert, and roughly another 0.5% is already inside the bitcoin price you are quoted, because the liquidity providers take their cut before any number reaches you. By the issuer's own maths that is about 1.5% per spend. Cash is worse: 3% plus 2 euros a withdrawal. Apple Pay works only if you add the card to Curve first. Cashback is none, unless somebody invited you, and then just for your first 90 days. And nobody will tell you which bank stands behind the plastic. The terms hand the card to an unnamed third party and leave Wave Space as the distributor, while the one licensed company they do name, Lightspark Payments Europe AS, sits on its own line beside "the card issuer" in their privacy policy.
