Card Overview
The Phantom Cash Card is a prepaid Visa debit card that spends from CASH, Phantom's USD-pegged stablecoin on Solana, and the catch is right there on the marketing page: no fee numbers. Just "Fees may apply" and a link to the Cardholder Agreement. So you cannot compare its real cost of spending before you sign up, and there is no cashback to soften that. Here is how it works. Your CASH sits in the self-custody Phantom wallet, and at the point of sale Bridge converts it to USD to settle the Visa transaction. The card itself runs on custodial rails: Lead Bank issues it, Bridge Ventures LLC manages the program, and Phantom is explicitly not a bank. Virtual only at launch, with physical cards planned later. Apple Pay and Google Pay both work. You fund it by bank transfer or direct deposit, or by swapping crypto into CASH inside the app, and KYC is required for the card and any bank-linked funding. It is live in the US as of July 2026, excluding New York. Yield on idle CASH has been announced but is not live yet, so do not buy in for that. Best fit: existing US Phantom and Solana users outside New York who want to spend a stablecoin balance straight from the same app that holds their crypto. Wrong card if you are outside the US, in New York, or shopping on rewards or a guaranteed FX rate.
Phantom Cash transforms the world's leading Solana wallet into everyday spending power with a self-custody Visa prepaid card. Funds stay on-chain in CASH, a USD-backed stablecoin by Bridge, until the moment of purchase, when Bridge converts CASH to USD for the merchant. Swap stablecoins to CASH for free, or convert SOL and other Solana tokens at just 0.85%. With Apple Pay and Google Pay support, gasless CASH transactions, and KYC that never exposes your identity to Phantom (handled by Stripe), Phantom Cash bridges Solana's speed with Visa's global acceptance. Currently live in the US (except NY/AK) with 500k+ waitlist and international expansion planned.
This is a Visa crypto card. It uses a self-custody model. Available to US residents.
