Card Overview
Same KAST engine, penguin paint. The Pengu tiers price like a subscription: free, 1,000 dollars a year for Black, 10,000-plus for Gold, and the May 2026 reward schedule pays 1.5% USD cashback (2,000-dollar monthly cap), 2% plus 1% in KAST Points (10,000 cap) and 3% plus 2% Points (50,000 cap) respectively. The catch sits in the Points: the token event they were building toward is off. KAST said in July 2026 that Points will convert to tokenized equity instead, with details promised for Q4, so part of what paid tiers "earn" is an IOU that changed shape mid-flight. Custody is fully with KAST with no deposit insurance, and the US, Canada, Australia, Russia and China are restricted. Funding is broad: five stablecoins plus BTC, ETH, SOL and PENGU. A fun skin for Pudgy holders; run the fee-versus-cap math before buying a tier.
KAST Pengu Card is a Pudgy Penguins co-branded Visa from KAST. The backend, custodial model, and fees mirror the regular KAST card; the differences are penguin artwork and a boosted points portion of the cashback. Three tiers: the free Pengu (2% KAST Points + 4% $MOVE), Pengu Black at $1,000/year (5% + 4%), and invite-only Pengu Gold at $10,000+/year (8% + 4%, with a 24k gold-plated physical card). The $MOVE portion caps at $80/month of qualifying rewards, and KAST Points only turn into real value at the Token Generation Event expected in Q2 2026. Funding accepts USDT, USDC, PYUSD, USDe, RLUSD plus BTC, ETH, SOL and the PENGU token. Launched 24 March 2026 in 170+ countries through a waitlist and staged regional rollout.
