Card Overview
The CoinJar Card is a prepaid Mastercard issued by EML Payment Solutions, live for new customers in Australia and the UK in 2026, with no discontinued or waitlist banner on the official page. The catch is the reward. Its 1% "cashback" comes as CoinJar Rewards points, not money: you can spend them on future trading fees or inside the CoinJar Rewards Store, never as cash or crypto. Those points arrive on the same purchases that carry a 1% fee, so the net cash reward domestically is little to nothing. Custody is CoinJar's, not yours. It holds the crypto and auto-converts your chosen Spend account to fiat at checkout, so the card moves fiat, not on-chain coins. You can fund it from 60+ cryptocurrencies. Digital and physical cards both cost nothing to issue, and there is no monthly or annual fee. Apple Pay and Google Pay both work. Read the fee print before you travel: foreign spend costs 2.99% or more, physical-card ATM withdrawals add 1%, and a disputed transaction runs $27.50. Best fit: Australian or UK CoinJar users who want a free way to spend an existing custodial balance at home and value a regulated, long-running exchange. Wrong card if you travel often or expect genuine cashback.
CoinJar Card transforms your crypto portfolio into everyday spending power across Australia and the UK with Mastercard's global acceptance. Earn 1% cashback on every purchase—redeemable as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or gift cards—while spending from 50+ supported cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, DOGE, and Solana. Backed by Australia's longest-running crypto exchange since 2013, CoinJar Card offers reliable crypto-to-fiat conversion with seamless mobile wallet integration for contactless payments anywhere.
