What happened: Card issuing partner Kulipa wound down; Solflare Card stopped working on 28 Jul 2026 — "Cards (virtual and physical): Both stopped working today, 28 July 2026" — with no notice period. Solflare calls it a pause and says a new issuing partner is being integrated. No regulator action is involved

Cardholder funds were unaffected: the card debited the user self-custody wallet at the moment of purchase and no balance sat with Kulipa. Solflare frames this as a pause rather than an end — "We're already integrating a new card issuing partner, with the new card expected in August" — so this row flips if that ships. As of 2026-08-05 it had not, and no new card is obtainable. The help centre still carries "Applying for the Solflare Card" and a search there for "kulipa" returns no articles.
