Card Overview
Reading the product page carefully, Trade Republic isn't a crypto-native card at all. It's a German neo-broker with a full banking licence, and the card is a regular Visa debit attached to a real German IBAN in your own name. Inside the app you can buy 54 cryptos alongside stocks and ETFs. FX is 0%, ATM fees are waived above €100 per withdrawal, and uninvested EUR earns 4% APY in the clearing account. Saveback pays 1% back into a savings plan on eligible purchases, conditional on a €50/month recurring savings-plan deposit. The cashback flows into investment products inside Trade Republic rather than landing as spendable cash, so the dollar reward stays small relative to the marketing tone. Two structural catches worth noting. You can't top up from external wallets; everything has to be bought inside the app first. And crypto-to-fiat conversion runs through Trade Republic's internal pricing rather than a published spread. Best fit: German or EU residents who already use Trade Republic and want one app instead of three.
