Shutdown event
2 consumer card programmes were affected by Lietuvos bankas e-money licence revocation, effective 3 Mar 2026. Every row carries a primary source.
Issuer: Paytend Europe UAB
What happened: Lietuvos bankas revoked Paytend Europe UAB e-money licence (AML/CFT and internal-control failures); card unusable from 3 Mar 2026
Unobtainable from: 2026-03-03
Outcome: shutdown — not obtainable today
The Paytend-issued Mastercard did not return. Wirex announced a BingX Visa debit card on 10 Jul 2026 and claims general availability — "The card is live across 200+ countries and territories" — but that is the partner speaking, and BingX itself has published no card page (bingx.com/en/card/ and /en/bingx-card/ both 404 as of 2026-08-05). BingX's own word for its old programme is "currently suspended", with "service recovery" named as a possibility. Unverified from the brand's side, so not counted as a relaunch.
