Card Overview
Keytom is a Visa card wired to a crypto account you hold on their platform, not in your own wallet: BTC, ETH, USDC and others sit there, you top up from that balance, and spend at any Visa merchant up to $150,000 per transaction. The catch you will not spot on the marketing page is a flat 10 USDC monthly account fee. Nothing here earns it back. There is no cashback, and the FX markup runs 1% on USD purchases but 2.35% on anything else, each with a 0.66 USDC minimum. ATM use adds 2% (USD) or 3.35% (non-USD) on top of $3,000/day and $10,000/month caps. The virtual card is free; the physical one costs 50 USDC. Holdings stay on-platform, not self-custody, and Keytom self-reports a $100M insurance program (Fireblocks, Marsh, Munich Re); KYC is mandatory. You get a named EUR IBAN and coverage in 150+ countries. The operator, KEYTOM SERVICES LTD, states it is registered as a Canada FINTRAC MSB and says it does not actively market crypto services in the EU. Read the fee print first. If you spend mostly in USD, the 1% rate applies and the high limit plus IBAN can justify the monthly charge. Best fit: high-spend users and businesses wanting one account that holds crypto behind a big-ticket Visa and a EUR IBAN, spending mainly in dollars. Wrong card if you are a low-spender, want cashback, live in the EU, or need self-custody.
This is a Visa crypto card.
