Card Overview
Of every card in our dataset, Airtm is the only one whose product story is "fund from anywhere your local economy actually pays in." The 400+ local payment methods cover bank, crypto, mobile-money, and wallet rails across Latin America, plus standard card top-ups. The card is virtual-only on Visa, USDC-backed 1:1. No physical option. A 1% loading fee applies to the first $200 each month, with a $2,000 daily spend cap. Several US states are excluded (CT, HI, NY, NH, TX, VT, VA). No cashback, no ATM, no IBAN. KYC via Bridge is mandatory for the USD virtual card. The audience that makes this work is the obvious one: gig workers and freelancers in Latin America paid in local rails who need a USD-spending instrument without juggling multiple wallets. Both Apple Pay and Google Pay run on it. I'd only recommend Airtm to LatAm users whose local payment access is genuinely fragmented (primary footprint Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador); anyone with normal banking and an exchange account already has cheaper rails.
Airtm Card is a virtual Visa prepaid card powered by USDC, available in 190+ countries with 400+ local payment methods for funding. Designed for emerging markets and gig economy workers, it offers Apple Pay and Google Pay integration with a $2,000 daily spending limit. Powered by Bridge (Stripe) for card issuance.
